The strong team of 18 Key Stage Two children worked both individually and in teams to compete in the local Sedgefield Swimming Gala, held in Newton Aycliffe. Swimmers competed in a mixture of backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle events to lead them to a overall finish in second position.

Every swimmer showed determination in their events and most importantly in their support for each other. It was also fantastic to see so many parents at the event, cheering the team on! The children are looking forward to swimming in the County Swimming Competition on 7th March.
