Vacancy for School Business Manager

To start April 2026

Due to the retirement of the existing postholder, the Governors of Byerley Park Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly effective, conscientious and motivated School Business Manager.

 This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team aiming for excellence in all areas of school life.   

 You will provide a strategic vision, leadership and advice in the provision of all not-teaching aspects of the school.  You will be responsible for all areas of Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety, Premises, IT and Administration, and for ensuring that all arrangements are focused on supporting the strategic vision of the school and excellence in the provision of teaching and learning.

 Ideally, the successful candidate will have a Business Manager qualification and experience of working in a school setting. 

The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
