Following Abigail's recent success at the Sedgefield Athletics competition, Abigail qualified to be part of the Sedgefield District Athletics team, competing at the County Athletics finals, on Tuesday 2nd July.

This is always a tough final, with successful pupils from all over the County attending the event. Abigail competed in the girls shot put event where she fought hard to achieve a fantastic 3rd place in her individual event. Her Sedgefield District team also achieved a brilliant second place overall. 

This is such an amazing achievement for Abigail. As a school, we are immensely proud of her well-deserved achievement.
