We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games PLATINUM Mark Award for the 2023/24 academic year.

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

With ALL children competing in local inter-school competitions and intra-school events this year, we are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport and most importantly having fun whilst they are doing it!
 
To receive this fantastic award, we have achieved 4 consecutive years at Gold Mark level with the opportunity to apply for Platinum status in the fifth year. 

As a school, sport and physical activity are extremely important to us, particularly with regards to our physical and mental health. We constantly strive to offer all of our pupils new and exciting sports opportunities to promote positivity around movement. 

We look forward to the new school year, continuing to provide our pupils with new sporting activities and initiatives and most importantly aiming to maintain our 'Platinum' Award status.
