Today, we took part in a ‘Speak out. Stay safe’ NSPCC assembly led by Mrs Pattison. We looked at dealing with worries whether they are big or small. They explored issues involving neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, online abuse and bullying.
The children discussed trusted adults they might talk to if they are worried, sad, unsafe or frightened and how they can also confidentially contact Childline for support.
The assembly concluded with the message of ‘It’s important to speak out until it changes!’
We all have the right to speak out and stay safe.
